Please read this carefully. By using HazyHollow Idle you agree to the terms below.

1. Data We Collect

Guest play stores a single anonymous identifier in your browser. If you register, we also collect a chosen username, an email address (used only for password reset), and the in-game state required to play (skills, inventory, chat history).

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve the game: persisting your progress, displaying you on leaderboards, delivering chat messages, and addressing support requests. We never sell your data.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

Registered accounts are authenticated with a secure, HttpOnly session cookie that cannot be read by scripts. Guest play stores an anonymous player identifier plus basic UI preferences (like whether chat is open) in your browser's local storage. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

4. Payments

All payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card number never touches our servers. We keep only a payment reference (item purchased, amount, and Stripe session id) to deliver your purchase and handle support requests.

5. Third Parties

We share payment data with Stripe solely to process your purchases. Our community Discord server is operated on Discord's platform under Discord's own privacy policy. Beyond that, HazyHollow Idle does not share personally identifiable information with third parties, except where required by law or to protect the safety of our players.

6. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@hazyhollowidle.com.

7. Children

HazyHollow Idle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age and will delete any such data on notice.
