Drifter's handbook

Game Guide

Everything you need to survive — and thrive — in HazyHollow.

Welcome to HazyHollow

HazyHollow Idle is a multiplayer idle RPG set in a misty forest where cryptids roam, aliens crash-land, and stoner-mystics tend to glowing gardens. Pick a skill to start training. Your progress continues even while you are offline, up to 20 hours per session. Earn coins, trade with other drifters, and climb the leaderboards.

Skills

There are 18 skills across three categories: Gather & Forage, Craft & Cook, and Cryptid Combat. Each skill levels independently from 1 to 150. Higher levels unlock harder activities, better XP per action, and rarer item drops. Pick a skill from the Skills tab and hit Start to begin training.

Combat

Combat in HazyHollow uses three styles — Strike, Defense, and Cosmic. Each style scales off different skills and consumables. You can configure auto-cast abilities, auto-eat triggers, and ability rotations in the combat settings. Higher-tier zones (T4+) are designed for parties of up to 3 drifters.

Quests & Rewards

Three daily quests reset every midnight UTC, a 20-quest story saga takes you from the couch to the Mothership, and a repeatable bounty board keeps the coins flowing. Guilds share one weekly mega-quest where every member's grind counts toward the same goal — complete it for personal rewards plus a big Guild XP payout. Don't forget your 28-day login calendar: it never resets when you miss a day.

Marketplace

The marketplace is fully player-driven. Place buy or sell orders that automatically match with other drifters at the best available price. You can hold up to 60 active listings at a time and listings refresh once per hour. Use the bid/ask spread to find arbitrage opportunities.

Community

Chat with everyone in the global Hollow Chat or whisper to friends. Form a guild to share a 60-slot vault, tackle the weekly guild quest together, and climb the guild leaderboards. Every member's kills, crafts, and deposits feed shared Guild XP.

Zones

Combat zones are tiered T1 through T5. Higher tiers offer better loot but require higher combat levels and tougher consumable rotations. Watch out for enrage timers on bosses — they tick every 3 minutes for mobs and every 10 minutes for raid bosses, increasing accuracy and damage by 10% per stack.

Inventory & Charms

Items are sorted by rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Equip a Charm in your charm slot to grant a passive XP bonus to one specific skill. Cryptid Charms are tradable, so you can craft them, find them, or buy them off the market.
